The Fighting First Regiment's READING LIST
Compiled by Jamie Rife
Fe I have
compiled the list below for the civil war enthusiast wanting to broaden his or
her knowledge of the Civil War. My criteria for inclusion was to focus on
those titles that can help reenactors the most in their uniform, drill, and
Confederate Army research, rather than trying to be comprehensive, which would
be impossible considering the sheer number of works that have been published
over the past 139 years on the subject.
