Here is  the  reenactment of Lt Gen. Gordon (Col Carver)  taking  the  surrender of Gettysburg.

Shown is Maj Gen Early (Gen King) sending  the  demands  to the  Mayor of Gettysburg on the  steps  of the town hall ( this is the real Mayor  of the City of Gettysburg). This was at  the  conclusion of the  march  down Main street.  Some  380 plus men in column with four horse drawn wagons, two horse drawn artillery and  40 mounted  Cav. accended upon the  town to re-enact the capture of  Penn. Milita and  Cav during the  capture  of Gettysburg by  Gen. Gordon's Brigade 1863. Gen Gordon (Col Carver) led  this column into town.

This was  the  first  time  in 145 years  that this  was re-enacted.

Comprising 1st and 2nd Regiments, PACS, the Department of Northern Virginia, and the Valley Division, 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division has formed for battle and is awaiting orders to march out.
